Vacation Bible School: June 17-21st from 6-8:00 p.m. This year's theme was "Texting Jesus". Our children showed up and showed out. The teachers were amazing each night. Markese Jones, TT Lee, Curtie Evans, Co-Pastor Mary Powell, Mrs. Barbara Bell, Deacon Roy Jones, Trustee Claude Cooper, Mrs. Laura Daniels, Mrs. Nikki Jones and others deserve the highest praise. The children were fed each night: Pizza, Spaghetti, Sub Sandwiches, and hot dogs after the lessons. Our VBS Chairperson, Sister Cynthia Peterson deserves a big shoutout. Wow she put it all together. Thanks financial secretary Debra Montgomery for your assistantance. You are appreciated. Pastor Powell has suggested that we now do this quarterly.

Prayer Breakfast: Held on Saturday, May 25th at 9:00 a.m. It was a huge success. Thanks Mrs. Laura Daniels for a job well done.

Men's Day: June 23rd---Guest Speaker will be Rev. Edward Horsley, Associate of Roanoke Salem Baptist Church, Garysburg, N.C.
